East Coast Bash .. In all its glory.

Its been over but i still have the taste in my mouth. The taste of tire smoke that is. Clubloose threw the party and EVERYONE CAME!.... For once. To recap things a little, this is how it went.

We got a late start due to some mix ups with the E-town staff. We got there to find a lake on the track. You will see this in some pictures later, but for serious it had to be like 3-4 ft deep in some parts. Thank god it didn't interfere with the drifting, it actually made for some AWESOME photos for the tons of photographers that were there.

A Group was fired up after the drivers meeting and tech got finished. They hit the track with a BANg. We were runnign 2 tracks at the same time leaving it up to the drivers to hit what they wanted, when they wanted. Dudes who could keep track said they got close to 15- 30 runs an hour.. thats unreal. Brian from MA Motorsports fame said "dude, i went through 12 Pairs of brand new Dunlop DZ101's". I believe that too look at the smoke coming off of this mean machine.
B group hit the track next and put it down. Not even phazed by the beer troll lurking on the track. Here she is holding it down after a long day in the hot sun.

All in all it was great event. Clubloose would like to thank all the drivers who made the trek, Englishtown Raceway Park for letting us have this day of awesome, R/T Tuning for track support and the spectators for supporting grass roots drifting. Thanks gang .

East Coast BASH!!!!!!! August 16th, 2008

So this is going to be the biggest and best event the East Coast has ever seen. It's on E-town's super sweet road course and will be attended by the best drivers this side of the mississippi. If you miss out, you will regret it for the rest of your life.

So come out and have more fun than you could imagine at a drift event. Besides the amazing drifting action, E-town will be setting up a Beer Garden for us, that's right, BEER. Who doesn't love beer? So along with a chance to watch and hang out with some awesome drivers, you have the chance to get drunk while watching them do their thing.

And we're going to have some other surprises lined up for spectators and drivers. This is the event that you can not miss.

Now for the details, event is from 10AM until 8PM, that means 10 hours of super sweet drifty action. Gates open for the drivers at 9AM and for the spectators at 10AM. Spectator cost is $15. It is $100 to drive and open to Clubloose Group A and B drivers. If you are an out of towner and want to drive and are at the level of our A and B drivers, email clubloose@gmail.com and be ready to prove that you can drive. Vouches from people that we like count for a lot.

For the approved drivers we are doing prepay for this event unlike our normal events. There will be no paying at the gate to drive, this event is prepay or nothing. Paypal payments can be sent to clubloose@gmail.com. Since we're using paypal and they charge 3% it would be great if you guys could chip in the extra $3 otherwise we will have to eat it and it may mean less sweet stuff for everyone. Do not send paypal payments if you are not a group A or B driver or an out of towner approved to drive.

So that's the deal, there's the info, so come out on the 16th and it will be awesome. Check the forum for more info and annoucements. There's also a lot of sweet flyers and Slavik made some sweet promo videos.

Congrats to new Group B drivers!!

On July 30th, we had another Wednesday night Group C only event. A lot of the Group C guys and girl are really starting to get better and I'm really happy to see that. We were able to move up a bunch of dudes to Group B.

And there's another great chance for the rest of the people still in Group C to get moved up to B this weekend. We are having a Group C Clinic at E-town this Saturday, August 9th. Gates open at 9, be there before 9 and ready to drive by the time we have the mandatory driver's meeting at 9:30. Cost is $75/driver. Please have a working e-brake and welded or clutch type diff. If not, we will make fun of you mercilessly.
